How to benefit from the short-link feature as a creator

In this blog article, we'll show you how to conveniently and appropriately include cliqe short-links in your content and thus increase your success earnings. First, we introduce our short link feature, explain in a step-by-step guide how to best use it, and then give a best practice example of how finance content creator @aktienmann successfully used the short link feature in his self-created content (user-generated content, short: UGC) and was thus rewarded by high compensation.

In turn, short-links look much more minimalist and elegant in your content. The short link feature allows you to strengthen storytelling by making it easy to include your own content (UGC) about brands and product recommendations in your social media content or share it directly with your community via Messenger services. The short link works in such a way that it leads to the selected brand or product and is much shorter than the actual target link behind it.

How you can benefit from the cliqe short link function, you will learn in the following steps:

Step 1: Select your favorite brand

First, select the brand you want to recommend to your community via the "Brands" tab in the menu bar. Here you will discover a large selection of brands that you can filter by different categories.

Step 2: Copy short link

Have you found your brand? Then click on the "Short-Link" button on the right to copy the link. Alternatively, you can get more information (description, compensation, cookie tracking, etc.) about the brand in the detail view by clicking the "i" icon and copy the short link at the bottom of the button.

Step 3: Create authentic content

Create appropriate UGC content to give your community more context to your recommendation. This can be, for example, an introduction to the brand/product or your own experience/benefits you see in it. You can hold the product up to the camera or include it in your content, as well as show yourself and authentically describe your own experience.

Step 4: Insert a short link

Once you have created suitable content, you can then insert the link on your social media channels. On Instagram Stories, for example, you can do this by clicking on the sticker icon at the top right and then on "LINK". Then you just have to paste the URL into the empty field. With the short link, the displayed link is automatically shortened and it is only shown to your community as a short link compared to the actual target link. Alternatively, you can easily share the short link with your community groups or individuals via your messenger.

Step 5: Share your content and track performance

Finally, you can share your content with embedded short link on your social media channels. If someone from your community follows your recommendations, you earn on every successful lead or sale you generate. Someone from his community asked him how to get a grip on his finances. To this, @aktienmann replied with a recommendation and short description of the app of the brand "Finanzguru" as well as the appropriate short link, which he received via cliqe.

Another successfully used practice was to present the app with specially created content (user generated content, or UGC for short) for his community. In doing so, he went into particular detail about the individual functions with screenshots and showed which features were particularly useful for him. The whole thing @aktienmann has repeatedly underpinned with the linking of the short link to the Finanzguru app and thus enabled his followers that they can quickly and easily follow his recommendation and get to the app with one click without having to search for it themselves.
